In the early 2000s, musicians Chris Cerulli, Frank Polumbo, Kyle White, and Angelo Parente joined forces to create the metalcore powerhouse called Motionless In White. It’s fair to say that the band gained a lot of attention when they first came out due to their “horror” or “shock rock concept. For at least a decade, the band’s popularity was limited to the local scene, not until they were discovered by influential music producer Zach Niel. After working extensively with the band, they released the EP Whorror, followed by their second EP, When Love Met Destruction. After scoring some incredible gigs and appearances on the highly popular Warped Tour, the band was discovered by Fearless Records, who bought out their recording contract from Niel.

The band, armed with influences from their idols, Marilyn Manson, Slipknot, and Depeche Mode, signed with Fearless Records to deliver three critically-acclaimed studio efforts. In 2010, Motionless in White dropped their debut album, Creatures. The record, which performed moderately well on the charts, spawned the iconic staples “Creatures,” “Immaculate Misconception,” and “Puppets.”

By their second album, the band was already soaring through the charts and making their way to the Top 5 on Billboard’s Top Rock Albums. Their 2012 effort, Infamous, peaked at number 53 on the Billboard 200 and number 5 on the Rock chart. The album demonstrated their various influences, but the main songwriter, Cerulli, puts his own twists. This clearly resonated well with fans since the single “A-M-E-R-I-C-A” entered Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Tracks. This was the band’s first-ever hit to enter the chart, and it helped put Motionless in White on the map.

In 2014, the band dropped their third effort Reincarnate, their first-ever album, to hit number 1 on the chart. The album dominated the Top Rock Albums and peaked at number 9 on the Billboard 200. The album spawned two hit singles, “Reincarnate” and “Unstoppable, " entering the Mainstream Rock Tracks. Since the success of Reincarnate, Motionless in White has continued to top Billboard’s Rock Charts. Moreover, they were also picked up by another major record label, Roadrunner Records.

Last year, they dropped their latest album, Scoring the End of the World. The album went to number 1 on the Rock chart and number 12 on the Billboard 200. The effort notably sold over 90,000 copies in its first week, the band’s highest-ever first-week sales.
