The Mesa Amphitheatre is an open-air venue that has remained unchanged in its design since its original opening in 1978. In over 40 years, the venue has welcomed performers from all over the world. 

Whether you are attending an event during the day or under a starry sky, sitting on the grassy lawn of the Mesa Amphitheatre offers an atmospheric but relaxed viewing experience. 

Boasting state-of-the-art sound and lighting equipment and enough space for up to 5,000 spectators within 175 feet of the stage, the Mesa provides an unforgettable and immersive environment for a range of live shows and events. 

There is no other venue quite like the Mesa Amphitheatre. It was designed and built to blend with the natural landscape thanks to a natural stone facade and grassy seating areas. It provides attendees with incredible views of the mountains and deserts that surround the city of Mesa, while also ensuring everyone has a clear view of the stage. 

It is important to note that as the Mesa is an outdoor venue that operates a ‘rain or shine’ policy, you should check the weather forecast before attending. On the plus side, due to its location in the Sonoran Desert, Mesa enjoys hot summers and mild winters.

You might be considering whether you will be comfortable sitting directly on the ground, and could be tempted to bring seat pads, blankets, or even small lawn chairs.
